The Deer Initiative aims to respond to all consultations that affect wild deer management in England and Wales. The Deer Initiative has no formal remit in Scotland and Northern Ireland, and many of our Partners are not UK wide. Therefore, in principle, we do not cover responses to consultations outside England and Wales.
As the Deer Initiative is a partnership of independent organisations, our consultation responses are generally not the collective response of the DI Partners, but reflect the view of the staff of Deer Initiative Ltd. where our technical expertise lies. Partner organisations affected by proposals may respond separately.
