BASC South West in conjunction with the British Deer Society (BDS) the Deer Initiative (DI) and Hartpury College will be holding a “Stalkers Evening” on Thursday 26th April 2018 at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire. 

The evening will include talks by various guest speakers with a number of associated trades. 

Forestry Commission Wildlife Ranger, Jamie Diplock from the Forest of Dean will be talking about the practical side of boar management, from shot placement, aging, carcass prep, and much more. 

Graham Riminton from the Deer Initiative (DI) will discuss stalking opportunities with the Woodland Trust.

Tim Hanks deer stalker and professional butcher will be giving a deer butchery demonstration and will offer tips and advice. 

There will also be time to test the latest thermal/night vision technology with Thomas Jacks, Blaser and Swarovski.
Raffle on the night.
