Research Report No.173 Deer Management on NNRs: problems and prevention
This report presents a review of the distribution and status of deer on NNRs, and an overview of the impact of deer grazing and browsing on conservation communities in general, as introduction to a specific examination of problems experienced in NNRs under English Nature's management. It also includes a summary of all available methods for management of deer, a review of management practices currently adopted to NNRs and recommendations for management for the future.
